Taio - The Hurcheon

As part of our continued collaboration with Lateral North and their After The Pandemic project, we were asked to curate this mural as part of a Burns celebration.

We have worked with Taio before and knew he would bring his usual vibrant visual vocabulary to the wall. We are always blown away by his ability to create such a variety of imagery in such a short space of time.

The video below captures his process and also features Scots poet Len Pennie who created her own interpretation of To A Mouse, bringing the story into the 2021 with the story of a hedgehog on a mission to spread the word of climate change.
